How much does interior design cost in Nairobi?
Interior design costs in Nairobi vary based on scope and complexity. A single room consultation starts from KES 15,000, while full home design projects range from KES 150,000 to KES 1,500,000+. We offer a free initial consultation to discuss your budget and vision.
How long does an interior design project take?
Project timelines depend on scope. A single room redesign typically takes 2–4 weeks. A full residential project averages 6–12 weeks from concept to completion. Commercial projects vary based on size and complexity.
Do you work outside of Nairobi?
Yes, we serve clients across Kenya including Mombasa, Kisumu, and Eldoret. We also travel for large commercial projects anywhere in East Africa.
What is included in your interior design service?
Our full-service interior design includes: initial consultation, concept development and mood boards, space planning and 3D visualization, material and furniture specification, project management, and final installation oversight.
Do I need to move out during the renovation?
For minor renovations (single rooms, painting, furniture changes), you can typically stay. For major renovations involving structural work, we recommend arranging alternative accommodation for the work period.
Can you work with my existing furniture?
Absolutely. We often incorporate and reupholster existing pieces into our designs. During the consultation, we'll assess what can be retained and what should be replaced to achieve your desired look.
Do you handle procurement of materials and furniture?
Yes. We have established relationships with local craftsmen, furniture suppliers, and material importers across Nairobi. We handle sourcing, procurement, and delivery as part of our full-service offering.
What areas of Nairobi do you primarily serve?
We serve all Nairobi areas including Karen, Westlands, Kilimani, Lavington, Runda, Muthaiga, Kitisuru, Spring Valley, and the CBD. Our studio is based in Westlands.
